Services for students and lecturers
Students enrolled at the participating universities can take advantage of the following offer in person for a small provision fee (currently €4.39 per year):
- The latest Microsoft Office365 ProPlus package for download and local installation,
- Install and activate simultaneously on up to 5 PCs and additionally on 5 mobile devices,
- Additional 5 to a maximum of 50 GB OneDrive: synchronize local data with Office365,
- All-day technical support by e-mail,
- No need to enter personal data when purchasing and
- Students also receive Windows 10 Education free of charge.
How it works
To use the offer, log in to bildung365.de with your university account.
There you confirm that you are an enrolled student and accept the terms of use. By logging in with your university account, your student status is confirmed.
To complete the activation process, you will need an account with Microsoft Online Services; for this you can freely choose a user ID and password: ONLY this data will be transferred to Microsoft Online Services. This will create an account @bwedu.de with this password.

TAH Student-License = Total Academic Headcount License from Mathworks
Software for solving mathematical problems and displaying the results graphically.
Aalen University can provide its students with a free MatLab license (also for installation on a private computer) including various toolboxes.
This is how it works:
- You register with the company Mathworks using your university e-mail address. After successful registration you can download and install MatLab and the various toolboxes.

The use of this offer is voluntary. Downloading/using the software and the associated registration is voluntary. You are in no way obliged to use this offer. The processing of personal data collected by MathWorks is the responsibility of MathWorks.
The software may not be used for commercial purposes and may not be installed on university computers.
The license runs for one year.

Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is a program from Microsoft that provides students with Microsoft software design, Microsoft developer tools, cloud computing access and learning resources.
It was formerly known as Microsoft Imagine, DreamSpark and MSDN-AA.
This is how it works
Due to preparatory work for a new Office 365 structure, you cannot currently generate the account yourself. If you would like to use Azure Dev Tools for Teaching, please send an email to holger.bewersdorf@hs-aalen.de

The sender address of your e-mail must be the university address. Other addresses will not be accepted and will not be answered.
You will receive an e-mail with your access data once your account has been set up (this may take some time).
This is a temporary solution and we will provide a self-service portal as soon as possible.

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools is only available to students and lecturers at the following institutions:
- Faculty of Chemistry
- Faculty of Electronics and Computer Science

- Faculty of Business and Economics
- We hereby expressly point out that by logging on to the Microsoft website or the corresponding web store to download software, you accept the rules and license conditions of Microsoft.
Excerpt from the terms of use: - The software may only be used in the context of research and teaching.
- Commercial use is excluded.
- Explicitly excluded from use are administrative facilities, secretariats and laboratories that do not serve educational purposes.
- The software may not be passed on to third parties.
- The software may continue to be used, but without authorization to update it:
- after termination of the employment relationship
- after completion of studies
