Application for one of our Bachelor's degree programs

Certain Bachelor degree programs have a limitation on the number of students that we can accept (in German: Numerus Clausus or NC). A list of these programes can be found here. For those programes, applications must be submitted via hochschulstart.de.

For all other bachelor programes, applications can be submitted via our application portal, depending on your current student status:

Note for students already enrolled: If you would like to change your degree program and/or apply for a higher semester, please contact the relevant student advisory service first.

What happens after your application

After a successful application, you will receive an offer of admission from the Admissions Office of Aalen University of Applied Sciences via Hochschulstart.de or our own online portal. The acceptence of admission also takes place via Hochschulstart.de or our own online portal. You can then view your letter of admission online. After accepting the offer of admission, completing the online enrollment and submitting the officially certified certificates, you can begin your studies at Aalen University of Applied Sciences.

The semester fee at Aalen University of Applied Science

In order to be fully enrolled at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, you must also transfer the semester fee. This is not a tuition fee, but a contribution to the administration, the representation of student interests and the student union. The current semester fee is €132. If you are an international applicant, you may have to pay tuition fees. You will receive further information after you have been admitted to the course.

For a good start to your studies: the preliminary courses at Aalen University of Applied Sciences

Every semester, the so-called Grundlagenzentrum (Center for Fundamentals and Digital Teaching) offers a preliminary course for future Bachelor students. In addition to refreshing or deepening your mathematical knowledge, you will also learn methods for successful learning or stress regulation and get to know your fellow students before the semester begins.
