Around 345 million people worldwide are blind, and the trend is rising. In order to help those affected, about 30 percent more care services will be needed over the next ten years. To meet this challenge, committed and well-trained specialists and researchers are needed to develop new solutions. This includes the students of the Aalen University. At the “VDCO Symposium – Colloquium with the Universities” of the Association of German Contact Lens Specialists and Optometrists (VDCO) e. V. presented their concepts, which are intend to shape the future of vision sustainably.
