Optometry Master Graduates receive the Karl Amon Optometry Award at Aalen UniversityTop level of master’s theses: High practical value for optometry practices

On Saturday, the twelfth Karl Amon Optometry Award was presented at Aalen University. This year, the prize worth a total of 2,000 Euros goes to Stephanie Felgner and Tom Koellmer. The two successful graduates of the study program "M.Sc. Vision Science and Business (Optometry)" received the award for outstanding scientific work with high practical benefits for the optometry practices during the graduation ceremony.


More than 50 bachelor's and master's degrees were handed over to optometry and audiology graduates of Aalen University on Saturday, November 16. Two of them also received the coveted Karl Amon Optometry Award. Stephanie Felgner from Burgau, Switzerland, and Tom Köllmer from Horkeim, Germany, from the part-time master's degree program Vision Science and Business (Optometry) accepted the award during the official celebrations. "We are very proud that the twelfth Karl Amom Optometry Award has been awarded to our graduates," said Prof. Dr. med. Anna Nagl, Dean of Studies of this part time M.Sc. degree program. "Ms. Felgner and Mr. Köllmer have achieved a top level of master theses with their work."
