The “Institute of Polymer Science and Processing (iPSP)” is an open, public and an integral recognized Institute of Aalen University of Applied Sciences which plays a crucial role in representing the university in the wide field of Polymer Technology. In iPSP we believe in the importance of scientific research and development and support this through taking part in the framework of different funded research projects which are particularly specialized to cope with the current scientific advancements.
iPSP attempts to contribute to future progress and the transfer of technology to as many applications as possible which are beneficial for the region and industries.
The institute is also constantly involved in academic education and knowledge transfer to national and international students through its contributions to the bachelor program “Kunststofftechnik” and the master program “Polymer Technology”.
The iPSP regularly publishes its research results in national and international journals.
