Graduates of the Business Management for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises programme (SME) have attained a comprehensive qualification for demanding business and management functions by a practical and generalistic degree programme.

They can also contribute to subjects of business start-up, entrepreneurship or succession regulations for SMEs and shape them. Graduates of the SME programme are perfectly prepared to compile solutions in teamwork, performing project works and case studies. Being certified management experts, they can also lead or establish a company, together with colleagues and staff.

Degree after the thesis: Bachelor of Arts (B.A).

Requirements: Secondary school leaving certificate, qualifying the applicant to enter university/tertiary education (f.e. German secondary school leaving certificates such als “Allgemeine Hochschulreife”, “fachgebundene Hochschulreife”, “Fachhochschulreife“ or equivalent).

Admission procedure: Internal selection procedure of the degree programme.

In Germany, the Business Management for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and the International Business Management bachelor programmes of the Aalen University of Applied Sciences (UAS), jointly with UAS Aachen, UAS Düsseldorf, UAS Furtwangen, UAS Reutlingen, UAS Stralsund and UAS Zwickau have assumed the top flight in the ranking when practicality, internationality, support by professors, the ability to study and the general conditions of studying were assessed. Graduating as an SME bachelor enables you to pursue a academic career or to assume an initial job in business. Many master programmes can either be completed full-time or part-time. For both time options, Aalen University of Applied Sciences provides different attractive Master degree programmes facilitating your further specialization.
